1. Bleach
The fandom I'm most active in at the moment. Actually tied for favourite series with Fushigi Yuugi ^^ Got into the series through a friend who saw it on an anime channel (which has since been shut down DX). I found the manga in Waterstones and got very into it. Become slightly annoyed at the amount of volumes there were and ended up watching the anime with said friend from about episode 40+. We literally screamed while watching the end of the SS arc. I kinda feel out of Bleach for a little while, but eventually picked up the manga again and marathoned it for a few days until I was caught up. After that the absolutely wonderful fandom has kept be very, very involved. I've met so many awesome people through the Bleach fandom and I really enjoy writing my fanfiction for it :3
Pairings? *laughs*Only if you don't tease me about how many involve Izuru Renji/Izuru, Izuru/Momo, ShuuKira, GinKira, Gin/Rangiku, Ikakku/Yumichika, Izuru/Yumichika, Ikkaku/Izuru, Shuu/Izuru/Renji and Renji/Izuru/Momo. Oh, and AiGin, though not as much.
As you can probably guess, Izuru's my favourite character ^^', but the other members of the dork trio (which is Renji, Momo and Izuru) come a close second. And Shuuhei. Their interactions together continually amuse me and a good amount of my ficread: nearly all centres around these four or a combination of them. Anytime the manga focuses on them will have me happy all week. Or worried-happy, considering their recent appearance... *shakes fist at Kubo*
I cosplay as Izuru (though my sewing skills are such that I need to ask my mother for help XD) and will be cosplaying him the october expo this year =D
And I've just joined a Bleach RPG *waves at Ama* which is going to be incredibly fun :3
And, of course, the Rp-ing with taichou over AIM is fantabulous ^-~thoughtaichouneedstostopbeingsoimpossible:P
2. Isle Of Wight
Where I live! :3 We're that small Island just off the south coast of England, in the channel. A lot of those on the mainland (those up north) don't actually know that we're part of England XDD This is us And this is one of our villages (liketheoneIlivein). Yep, the majority of our villages are really old-fashioned, to appeal to the tourists. We have a ton of countryside, lots of beaches and quite a lot of tourist attractions. As you can guess, in the Summer we end up massively busy and a lot of our trade depends on these tourists. It seems empty in the Winter in comparison, and a lot of the tourist places shut down, so we're more like ordinary towns then. Newport is the same as any big town (but without as many of the big shop chains) at any time of the year. And our public transport system fails. The buses to the more 'popular' and 'busy' parts of the Island (like where the ferries go to) are on time and frequent, but we get one bus an hour to where I live and they're late more often than not.
Public transport aside, it's a pretty awesome place to live. Beach access within a 15 minute walk, hills for hiking and picnicing less than that, an pretty awesome school and fantastic people who go there. And we tend to get better weather than the mainland XD Or warmer weather at least. Not sure why but we seem to be a few degrees higher than most places on the mainland, and those few degrees do make a difference XD

3. Burimyu

Found mention of a musical on a Bleach forum and was curious. I found Saien subbed on Youtube and was slightly amazed at how good it actually was, the acting and singing both. And then they got to performing the 'Death song' and I almost cried laughing at my favourite characters doing this. Kawaranai Kimochi was absolutely gorgeous, and by the end of Hona Sainara I was hooked. I was so glad to find out that there were more musicals and loved them all. Imediately my favourite actors became Eiki and Tuti, before I even knew their names XD Tacchan, Kouhei, Nagayan, Naoya and Kumiko (Hinamori) soon followed, but really I love all of them :3 The backstages have me on the floor with laughter sometimes, even if I can't quite understand what they're saying. They're all such massives goofs together; the way they inertact with each other is absolutely amazing.
Asking me to pick a favourite song/scene is really hard. My favourite musical is still Bankai 001, hands down, but my second favourite is DotBM, closely followed by Bankai 002. Favourite song has to be an almost tie between Tsuki yo Oshiete Kure and Tsuyosa to Egao. Tsuki yo is slightly further forward, because the whole thing, lyrics/singing/meaning/actors, is just gorgeous, but Tsuyosa has got such beautiful harmonies that I really do love the song. Scene... well XD Anything crack that the actors provide. And anything in which Izu is drunk XD
Burimyu revived my interest in theatre, and has provided me with several of my best LJ friends :3 From it I have begun tostalk follow Eiki and have found Pnish.
And I'm going to see Bankai 003 next year! *squeeeee*
4. Japanese
My curse. XD No, I really do love learning this langauge, it just frustrates me sometimes. I have a long standing war with Katakana, because they look far too similar! I mean, シ and ツ ? ソ and ン ? >.< The verb system perplexes me somewhat, but I find the whole dare-dareka-daremo, nani-nanika-nanimo, ect, to be pretty awesome, because I'm a dork like that XD And then kanji usually end up annoying me, but they're pretty, so I forgive them eventually.
My whole Burimyu/actorstalking fuels my drive to learn Japanese, and I'm glad of the encouragement XD I want to get good enough that I can understand maybe 50% of Bankai 003, so wish me luck, ne?
... And the grammar system is easier than German, which is a plus XDD
5.Smut Izuru
Well, my smut writing is partly Ama's fault, but mostly the prettiness of the boys XD It's fun to wriiiite~! Andyesthesmutrpingismuchfuntaichou>D
When I first met Izuru I already had a favourite character, Gin. Yes, I knew he was an evil bastard from the moment I first saw him, but I never claimed that I didn't fall for the villains XD He intrigued me, the permanent smile and flippant attitude, though he was obviously so strong. At that time I was also very much a Renji fan, so Izuru and Momo's interactions with him intrested me. Izuru first began to catch my attention when he stopped Momo from attacking Gin, and then I became really interested in him during the prison scene. (Yep, I adore angst) When we got to the flashback chapter/episode I then began to think about his interactions with Renji and Momo. While watching Burimyu, I loved Eiki's Izuru. Though he isn't exactly the cannon Izuru, he helped me to fall completely in love with the guy. Through my fanfiction and exploring his personality, I began to love him even more. I became convinced that, while a lot of fandom considered him weak, Izuru had this hidden strength. At first it was his interations with Gin that caught most of my attention, but as my fascination with the academy days grew so did my love of the trio.vraieesprit got me considering the Izuru/Momo pair and the more I thought about it, the more it worked in my head. Through this pairing I got another glimpse of Izuru's personality, and he was well and truly my favourite by then. He sacrifices everything for others, though those others are sometimes the wrong people, and tries to do what he thinks is right, even if he hates it. The guy learns some hard lessons when Gin leaves him, but he doesn't break. Him and Shuu are ready to kick some ass right now, even if Shuu is unable and Izu is exhausted at the moment, they still have the spirit for it. I can't wait for Izu to confront Gin (as I really hope happens) because I just want to see what he's going to do and how he's going to deal with his ex-captain.

IZURU!! I don't blame ya for shipping him with so many people. I do as well. XDD LOL! He just goes so well in so many pairings. XDD He's also my fave character. Him and Gin. XDD I support the Gin/Kira pairing a LOT. XDD
I'm also waiting for the confrontation between the two (even if I am SERIOUSLY behind in the manga!) I adore Eiki's portrayal of Kira especially. :p
