I feel I can talk about this without being incoherant now XD
Well, I live on the Isle of WIght, which is rather small, and not much happens down here that the mainland is interested in.

Anthony Minghella was a brilliant film maker and will be missed. He died far too soon.
How'd I decide which one to go to? Eheh, Alan Rickman was at the Friday show ^-^
I love that man. He is a fantastic actor, and has just about the best voice I have ever heard, which is that much better in person.

Yep, I got to meet him.
Ahhh, I was shaking so much afterwards XD He is so nice and, wow, that voice >.< I swear, I've never heard anything like it.
I had my mock German reading and writing exam today.
I think... I did ok. I hope I did ok. I know I have at least 1/2 - 3/4 of the marks for the reading and grammar sections, but the essay section hasn't been marked yet *crosses fingers* I won't know for a week -.-
History... I just submitted my latest essay. Should know that one tomorrow. We've finished the course now, revising hard for the exams in June.
Psychology. Oh, just don't ask XD 9/15 studies complete. Exam is 15th May. This could be fun.
English = fantastic. Mock exam in a week and a bit. Finished analysing written and spoken conversartion and we're moving onto how children acquire language now. Hey, F-list, Nature or Nurture? Do we learn everything or do we know some things instinctively?
Oh yeah, they've messed up my exams. Again. -.- I have a total of 7 and a half hours of exams on May 15th. Not only that, but two are at the same time, in two different schools a half hour's journey apart XD So, I'll have to be moderated overnight (no talking to anyone) so I can do one of them on Saturday morning -.-

Hee, I've already done this meme. It's a rather fun one. ^^
I also love Terry Pratchett. :) And I just finished watching Season Two of Bleach. :)
As for reading books that are 'too young'...I find myself reading many of the Young adult fictions my 15 year old daughter reads. Quite often they're better written, better characterized and far more original than what I've read from some well known adult fiction writers. ^__~

Date: 2009-03-20 12:30 am (UTC)Heh, I'll try my best! Ganbatte!
trying to get into Oxford gives a lot of pressure :S They've told me I can get the grades...Terry Pratchett's Discworld series is one of the funniest (and sometimes confusing XD) things I have ever read ^-^
*grin* Currently, Bleach is second only to FuYuu in my fandoming.

That's what I tell people, but there's several I know who turn their noses up -.- "You're reading what? But that's for children, it must be awful."
I stand by my opinion that Artemis Fowl is the most lovable evil genis yet. And he;s only 12 years old when we first meet him... ^-^

Eheh XD They're not as bad as they seem. German kicks my ass on a regular basis, but there is no way it's going to beat me after I've wrestled with it for six years. History, well, we have absolutely fantastic teachers XD When you can get into a serious discussion over whether the first Duke of Buckingham was gay with Charles I, you just know it's entertaining ^-^ And English is both the love of my life and the biggest pain. Oh grammar drills, why must you taunt me so?

Date: 2009-03-20 01:13 am (UTC)Uh-uh. There is still Sean Connery! ::swoons::
Also...do you watch The Tudors? Them monarchs are ALL gay with each other, I SWEAR. Especially Henry VIII and Charles. 8D

Date: 2009-03-22 11:51 pm (UTC)I've been told that the Tudors is entertaining, but I haven't seen it as it isn't very historically accurate and I can't afford to put a 'fact' that I've unconsciously gained from it into my exam.
But yes, they are indeed XD It gets even better when you find the evidence that suggests Buckinham was also gay with Charles' father James I
He was a busy man XD You know the nursery rhyme Georgie Porgie? That was based on him and his travels across Spain to find Charles a wife. Suffice to say, it did not go well XD
